Adam Mada couples twelve years experience as a professional magician with an edgy charismatic and funny wit to create provocative, astonishing and sophisticated shows. His reputation for mind-bending magic has his performances ranging from spectaculars at the Sydney Opera House & State Theatre to intimate parlor shows and close-up magic for well-heeled clients - in international demand.

Clientele
Adam's elite circle of clients include: Kerry Stokes, the Spanish Ambassador, Brian Eno, Tara Moss, Lote Tequire and the Joyce, Agnew and Hemmes families. In 2009, Tara Moss based an entire character in her novel 'Siren' on a performance by Adam, and called on his expertise when researching technical aspects of the Australian best-seller.

His custom performances, shows and visual effects have not only been employed for countless live product launches but also for feature films and commercial marketing campaigns, including the 'Zero Reality, re-Launch of Coke Zero' 2008 tour, Stoneleigh Wines 'Magic of the Sunstones', Adam was part of a major competition for the 2010 Shapes Sensations promotion.

Live Show Highlights
Adams original shows keep him busy on the corporate circuit, festivals and private engagements each show is specifically adapted and themed for the environment and event. Adam created, directed and produced the critically-acclaimed MADA vs VEGAS - The Dueling Magicians show which enjoyed sell out runs during Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne Magic Festival as well as National tours showing at Crown Casino (palms), Adelaide Convention Centre, Opening for the presets, Cockatoo island, and the Tivoli in Brisbane.
Adams one man show has shown publicly on the prestigious stages of the Sydney Opera House (Playhouse Late Night Lounge series), Sydney State Theater (Burlesque Royale Tour), Parade Theater (NIDA), Adelaide & Sydney Town Halls, Sell out Season for the 2010 Wild West Comedy Festival (Perth). Adam is a founding performer (5 years) for the extremely successful weekly cabaret EL CIRCO at slide Cabaret. Performing an assortment of vaudeville style acts each week.
In 2011 the Singapore Street Festival invited Adam to be a guest Judge for the magic component of the festival, Adam was also invited to perform a stage show featuring local member of Parliament being a huge supporter of the festival.

Film and television highlights
Adam starred in 'The Real Hustle', an eight-part reality show for Channel 9. The program saw him expose elaborate confidence scams alongside Nicholas J Johnson and Clare Werbeloff. The show went to air in Australia in 2010 and was featured on BBC3 in the UK.
In early 2010, Adam was commissioned as an illusion consultant on Australian feature film 'Sleeping Beauty' official cannes selection 2011, starring Emily Browning. Adam created an original illusion for the key opening scene that replicated the visual effect of a Bronchial test.
Adam created and performed a set of memory tests for ABC Television's teen science documentary 'Whatever'. Working with leading neuroscientist John Currie, Adam invented visual and stunning conjuring demonstrations that exposed the dangers of binge drinking.
During the birth of video podcasting, Adam directed, wrote and starred in an original series of shorts called SLEIGHT. The series was successfully distributed through itunes and ran on television network TVS through 2009. In the series, Adam brought his original, contemporary magic to the streets, performing diabolical enchantments on passers-by.

Artist collaboration
Adam's deeply conceptual and creative magic draws him to regularly collaborate with other notable artists, including renowned choreographer Sarah Boulter (so you think you can dance) Kathryn Gray (conceptual visual artist), Carol Barroso (video artist) and Alex Davies (mixed reality installations). Adam along with a team of handpicked experts in their respective fields including Alex Davies have won a considerable grant from the Australia Council to produce a new exciting work for 2012.
As a technical and design consultant, Adam has worked on several major sound and light installation works. Projects include: the UTS Design Architecture & Building LAB's generation-lead technology display, a cutting edge LED display for Darwin International Guitar Festival's Sound & Light Concert, and visual illusions projection showcased as part of the Sydney Smart Light Festival.
Performance residencies
Adam has held long residencies at many prestigious sydney venues, including De Nom, Ivy and Tharens. Adam is currently the chief magician at Sydney cabaret venue SLIDE since 2007, and is resident at brand new cabaret venue, The Chamber of Secrets.
Adam is the only Australian magician to complete the world famous Jeff Mcbride Magic Masterclass in Las Vegas with Eugene Burger.
