Happy 20th birthday @fbiradio ! Good times, 14 years ago along with FBI host and mate @chris_coucouvinis we had a weekly radio show on magic and pop culture called Wonder Thunder. I always had interesting guests on, @reggiewatts had this superpower of just making everyone have fun and get their silly on.

Aye, Aye Captain ! Very proud of the 2023 NIDA magic group. A rollicking adventure on the high seas - with 18 illusions and stage effects conceived, developed and realised with in an original script in only 7 weeks. The students also created the sound score, lighting design, set design, build, installation and scenic. If that wasn’t enough, they stage managed it and we’re the cast ! Very bright careers ahead for this group - thankyou to my partner on this project Director @hardwick3970 Kim Hardwick and the team @nidacommunity

I’ve created lots of magic over the years for various productions playing The Sydney Opera House, including my own, however this was the first time creating magic for an actual Opera at the Opera house with Opera Australia. A fun collab on this one with @jamesgalea
World Premiere, Offenbach’s - The Tales Of Hoffman what an absolute feast for the senses, tremendous amounts of work put into this production by the creatives, crew and production. Absolute thrill to work with the Italian creative team led by director Damiano Michieletto and the local Opera Australia team. She’s finally open ! playing two weeks only in the belly of the Joan Sutherland.

Thoughts with the creative team, crew, cast and producers - today is the final performance of Harry Potter & The Cursed Child in Australia. A life changing role for me, thank you to Jamie Harrison and Chris Fisher for bringing me onto the Australian team to share the magic down under. Wrangling the magic on this beast from rehearsals in 2018 through cast changes, never ending 100 hour tech weeks, midnight meetings, lockdown shutdowns, startups, 12hour zoom direction sessions, countless flights, ubers and 5am starts - what a thrilling ride. Shoutout to my colleague Lee Cohen Magician whom I handed the reigns over on the one part, wrangling the 1 part home on the final leg with expert finesse.
